We understand that life does not always follow a standard schedule. Need a private session? Want split-day or split-night classes? We will build training around your life. If you don't see a class time that fits, please reach out, and we will make it happen.
Know the Law, Defend Your Rights
While permitless carry is legal for South Carolina residents, a South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit gives you the freedom to carry concealed or openly in many other states. It expands your ability to exercise your rights responsibly beyond state lines.

About the CWP Course
​
This course is designed to qualify you for a South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit and help you become a confident, prepared, and responsible armed citizen. You will learn more than just how to shoot. You will gain a deep understanding of the law, your rights, and the serious responsibility that comes with carrying a firearm.
​
Tina covers the Castle Doctrine, Stand Your Ground, and self-defense laws in detail, along with real-world applications and scenarios. You will leave with practical knowledge that empowers you to defend yourself legally, confidently, and effectively.​
Course Highlights:

Understanding the legal use of force and your rights under the Second Amendment

Safe handling, techniques, and ammunition choices

Legal aspects, liabilities, and risks of carrying a firearm

Real-world self-defense scenarios and best practices
Age Requirement:
Must be 21 or older. Students 18 to 20 may attend but must wait until their 21st birthday to submit their permit application.
Time:
About 6 hours or less
Typically, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break.

​Equipment Needed:

Handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition

Eye and ear protection (available if you do not have your own)

Valid South Carolina driver’s license with current address

Pen and paper for notes (provided if needed)

Tax forms if you own property but are not a full-time resident

DD214 if claiming veteran exemption

Open & Concealed carry rights and responsibilities

50-question written test

Firing range qualification (25 rounds)

Military and law enforcement are exempt from the range test, though participation is strongly encouraged.

Training should feel comfortable and focused. Most classes are held in a relaxed, stress-free environment at Tina’s home rather than a stiff classroom setting. Complete location details are provided upon registration.​
